NewTec was formed in 1997 by the most successful service companies in the industry: DynCorp, Lockheed Martin, Cortez Inc., and Northrop Grumman (formerly TRW). In 2009, Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) and TRAX International became the sole NewTec shareholders.
